The first thing you notice when looking at Stockholm from above or, more likely, on the map is that the city is scattered across islands. Water is omnipresent in the Swedish capital, or at least always a short walk away. No matter where you’re headed, it won’t be long until you cross one of the many bridges - making for spectacular views. The scenic location will charm you quickly but the city of ABBA, kanelbullar, and cult brands like Acne Studios has much more to offer. And thanks to the much-adored Swedish sense for aesthetic, Stockholm is a feast for the eyes - from pastel-colored facades to swoon-worthy stores and restaurants.
