A 2 weeks experience designed with Endelea, an Italian B-Corp using fashion to drive change towards more equitable and responsible societies.14 days to visit Tanzania and its parks, spend some time at the beach and get involved with the locals, while taking part in some activities and workshops with Endelea. What is Endelea? An ethical fashion brand founded in Milan in 2018 to create clothes and accessories in African traditional fabrics with a made in Italy design. Endelea's collections are handmade in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, sharing resources and knowledge with local people, to empower them and create durable progress.

Daar Es Salaam

Day 1: Pickup at the Airport and transfer to the hotel; introductory meeting with the Endelea person; dinner together on the Ocean. Day 2: Morning - Visit of the Endelea workshop: story of the project, meeting with the team; lunch all together with the tailors. Afternoon - visit of Kariakoo market, with focus on textiles and history of wax fabrics; choice of fabrics for the workshop; DARCH museum visit and dinner in an historical building. Day 3: Morning - Walk in the Old Town and lunch with typical street food. Afternoon - Workshop with Endelea tailors to create custom tote bags and have 1-to-1 conversations; brainstorming with the marketing & production teams to help with new ideas and strategies. Finish the day with a traditional Tanzanian dinner. Day 4: Morning - Shopping time! Tour of 3 social impact projects: visit to the workshops + possibility to purchase. Afternoon - Free time for shopping, rest, work with the team.

Safari:

Day 05: Transfer via plane to Arusha. Pickup by safari tour guide and trip to Serengeti National Park. Entrance to the park and arrival to accommodation in a camp/lodge within the park. Dinner with view on the savannah. Day 06: Safari all day! Day 07: Transfer via car to Ngorongoro National Park and safari in the park. Accommodation in a camp/lodge within the park. Dinner with view on the park. Extra: Visit to a Maasai village on the way. Day 08: Safari in the morning and transfer back to Arusha via car. Accommodation in Arusha. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Day 09: Transfer via plane to Zanzibar. Depending on the time of the flight: visit to Arusha Cultural Heritage Art Gallery + Shanga social project.

Zanzibar:

Day 09: Arrival via plane to Zanzibar airport and transfer via taxi to the hotel on the East Coast (recommended: Paje and Jambiani). Day 10: Rest at the beach! Day 11: Blue Lagoon snorkeling & rest at the beach. Day 12: Rest at the beach. In the afternoon, transfer via taxi to Stone Town and visit of the old colonial town. Aperitivo watching the sunset and dinner at the street food market in Forodhani Gardens. Sleep in Stone Town. Day 13: Visit of Stone Town (Freddie Mercury museum; Darajani Market; Slavery Museum). Transfer via ferry to Dar es Salaam. Farewell dinner with the Endelea team. Day 14: Flight back to Italy.
