Overlooking the Roero hills, you will find Flavio Costa’s Ristorante 21.9. The restaurant, which is hosted inside Tenuta Carretta, a relaxing hotel and spa, was recently awarded its first Michelin star. Mixing the locally sourced flavours of the region of Piedmont with the flavours of the sea, and of Liguria (Costa’s region of provenance), the chef offers a variety of different menus (truffle, sea, land) and successfully re-proposes classical ideas re-interpreting them in fun and creative ways.
