Skiers and foodies alike behold! If want a ‘high-altitude’ experience look no further than Alpine Food Space and Restaurant. Opened this June by the starred chef Norbert Niederkofler and Paolo Ferretti, the restaurant is set in an unusual yet picturesque location: the old cableway station of the Plan de Corones, which is also home to Lumen, the mountain photography museum. Snugness meets ultra-modern design courtesy of a very special interior design collaboration with Martino Gamper. Last but not least, is the ethical and sustainably focused mindset set behind the menu which is based on seasonal ingredients, sustainable raw materials and the reusal of waste.
