Nestled within the courtyard of 17th-century historic cultural institution Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Apollo Bar & Kantine is an experimental play on local flavours. Brought to you by the chef of Atelier September, renown Danish chef Frederik Bille Brahe, the restaurant is open for breakfast and nightcaps and features a menu which focuses on small yet delicious plates, such as marinated duck confit and pointed cabbage on grilled bread. Designed with the intent of being a new modern canteen where students and others can hang out from day to night, interiors feature bold red walls and neo-classical looking plaster cast statues borrowed from the museum.
