Osteria del Boccondivino

Tucked away in a small courtyard in Bra, the Osteria del Boccondivino is one of Italy’s most famous osterie. First opened its doors in 1984 and just a few years later, in 1986, it was where the Slow Food movement was founded by Carlo Petrini. The place still has the feeling of an old trattoria, a place of gathering where travelers stopped, ate, and slept along their journey - yet with a modern twist. A must if you are in to indulge in any Piedmontese specialty (vitello tonnato, brasato al Barolo and rabbit).
