Recently opened by the Experimental Group, Palazzo Experimental is one of Venice’s new exciting sights to see whilst sailing by the Giudecca canal. The hotel was sumptuously redesigned by architect Dorothee Meilichzon and spans 32 rooms, a restaurant and an intimate cocktail bar. Taking inspiration from the local colours, the designer re-imagined the hotel using a palette ranging from shades of terra cotta to soft yellows, pale pinks and bold reds, while also retaining the centuries-old exposed beams and Gothic windows of the palazzo itself.
